We received more than 600 delegates from 40 countries, including tourism ministers, WTO representatives, academics, and industry businesspeople. Immigration logistics, transfers, and accommodation were coordinated unprecedentedly.
Emblematic Venues
Conferences were held at the Santa Marta Convention Center, but practical experiences took delegates to Tayrona Park, Sierra Nevada, Cienaga Grande, and local indigenous communities.
Global Impact
The congress generated the Santa Marta Declaration on sustainable tourism, signed by representatives from all participating countries. Magic Tour Colombia was recognized with the award for Best Logistics Organization of the event.
